After signing up - you will receive an email from casting if we can reserve a spot for you on your chosen date. Only those who have a reservation email are confirmed for their date and time.

9/1 - Morning and Afternoon shifts - all reservations have been emailed out. Sign up is closed for this date.

For 9/8 - Morning and Afternoon shifts - all reservations have been emailed out.  Sign up is closed for this date. 

For 9/17 - Sign up is closed for this date. Reservations will be emailed out between 9/4-9/10.

We are still accepting sign ups for 9/22, 9/23, and 9/24.  We will contact you between 9/4-9/16 if we have a reservation for you.

If there are reservation cancellations for any date, we will go back to the sign up list, and offer those spots to others.   

THE STREAK - an underdog basketball comedy, is filming at various locations in St Louis area between Aug. 24 - Sept. 30, 2026.

The film is written and directed by comedian Steve Byrne. It’s based on the true inspirational story of first time head Coach Oliver Eslinger's journey of taking the 2011 Caltech Beavers Men’s Basketball team, who possesses the longest losing streak in college basketball history of 30 years, and transforming the brightest minds in the country into a team with the goal of winning just one single game.

Since THE STREAK is a basketball movie, the production will need lots of basketball fans for game scenes. St Louisans can get in on the filmmaking action as a volunteer basketball fan. There will be giveaway prizes, professional comedians to entertain fans in between takes, and a chance to be a part of movie magic; while watching the Caltech Beavers’ inspirational fight to break their 30 year losing streak.

All volunteer basketball fans must be age 18 years or older to sign up, and commit to a 5 hour filming window on specific dates.
